Verseglade

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 4, 2026

Verseglade is a desktop wallpaper application. The app is designed to process your wallpaper and preferences on your device.

Information the app uses

Verseglade reads images you choose and the wallpaper information needed to show or update your desktop background. It stores your preferences, selected quotations, schedules, and generated wallpaper files locally so the app can provide its features. Your original photos are not modified.

Verseglade does not require an account and does not send these images, preferences, or generated wallpapers to Verseglade servers. The app does not include analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting services.

On-device translation

On supported Macs, an optional translation feature uses Apple's on-device Foundation Models. The translation request is processed on the Mac. The feature may not be available on every device or for every language. Other platforms can use text you enter yourself.

Operating system and Store

Verseglade uses operating-system APIs to access and set wallpaper, store local app data, and optionally launch at login. The Microsoft Store, GitHub, and your operating system may process technical or account information under their own privacy terms when you download, install, or update the app. Verseglade does not receive that information.

Data retention and deletion

App settings and generated wallpaper files remain on your device. You can remove them using the app's available controls or your operating system's file-management tools. Uninstalling the app may not remove files it created in your user data or wallpaper folders.

Children

Verseglade does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users.

Changes and contact

This policy may be updated when the app's data practices change. For privacy questions, contact the project through Verseglade support. Do not include private or sensitive information in a public issue.
